FreshCo is looking for a Project Lead to oversee and collaborate with some of our most challenging and innovative projects in web development.

The Project Lead will serve as the primary communication contact for any web design and development work between our mostly English-speaking clients and our cross-functional team of developers and designers.

Responsibilities include:

- Manage communication, workflow, and relationship between FreshCo and the Client.

- Logging and maintaining all briefs as well as appropriate updates in internal and external central databases for workload prioritization, resource allocation, project tracking, and reporting.

- Review briefs with Client to ensure complete understanding of requirements.

- Develop business and technical requirements for the Development and Project Team.

- Develop and communicate production schedule for each project.

- Manage team resources, establish project deadlines, ensure deliverables and schedules are met.

- Develop baseline and project-specific test scripts.

- Complete full QA and manage UAT process with clients prior to implementation.

- Perform post-implementation tests to ensure implementation is stable.

- Provide clear project updates on a regular basis to management and clients.

- Continually monitor the site for optimal performance and usability.

- Make recommended changes and address production issues.

- Act as primary contact with client and external partners.

- Manage and prioritize web production calendar.

- Log and manage production issues.

- Prioritize and escalate as required.

- Collaborate with other WPMs and management for project resources, implementation schedules, and establish change control process.

- Proactively work to identify and resolve issues.

- Work with appropriate teams to hand off assets to client and push some assets and development work to production through the appropriate system.

- Interact with all levels of design and development teams.

The position requires a comfortable fluency in English and Spanish (both written and oral), and the ability to work primarily from our office in Guadalajara.

Candidates should show a solid background in Web Development (favored technologies and programming languages include PHP, Ruby, JavaScript, AJAX, among others) and experience in overseeing and managing large projects.
